It was hard to produce capsules in small quantities due to relatively high costs and complex processes, but now with this automated production, it is possible to produce in small scales.
Nitrogen flushing
Nitrogen packaging: Replace with Nitrogen gas instead of air inside the packaging.
Nitrogen prevents food oxidation and inhibits the growth of aerobic micro-organisms which helps to slow the speed of the spread and stays in the packaging for a long period of time.
This makes a suitable source for capsule coffee packaging.
